Renewable energy through solar electric home systems for residential homes is the best way to save money on the expense of your utilities if you can reduce the upfront price of the solar panels by doing it yourself. The average homeowner that pays for a contractor to install solar panels on their home spends $27,000 for their home solar electricity system. This is obviously too expensive for normal people and would take forever to pay itself off. That is when I thought?

I am not very technically inclined and was a little worried I would not be able to put my own home solar panels together, so I first started looking at things that I could purchase preassembled and found out that they don’t produce very much electricity and they cost more than I wanted to pay to simply run my refrigerator or some other single appliance. It just didn’t make sense for so little solar electricity.
Then I found a do it yourself solar power kit that has a manual, videos, and all of the instructions and resource listings to put together whole house solar powered systems, and they throw in an instructional kit for a wind turbine as well. I thought “well self- What do I have to lose?”
So I tried it. And now after finding out how easy it is I am building another system for my sister, and both of our parents. Green, Renewable, Solar, Electricity just plain makes sense if you do it yourself and save thousands of dollars in the process. And it is good for the environment.
Solar electricity is the best renewable green energy source and you owe it to yourself and your wallet to check it out as soon as possible. You will save money right away!!
